My mom wished me a Happy Thanksgiving last week. She has dementia, so I just said thanks. I read that’s what you’re supposed to do. Like, if you ever see them sweeping with the broom upside down, you’re supposed to say, “Great job,” not tell them to turn it around. You just have to go with it.
